Lisandro Martínez breaks silence on Manchester United defeat to Arsenal
Manchester United defender Lisandro Martínez has urged his team-mates to focus what’s ahead after their disappointing defeat to Arsenal.
Man United succumbed to their first defeat since club action restarted when they lost 3-2 to Arsenal away from home.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a superb strike but Nketiah pulled level with a decent header.
Bukayo Saka put Arsenal in front with a brilliant strike in the second half but Lisandro Martínez put Manchester United back in the game some minutes later with a fine header.
That was his first goal for Man United since his summer arrival from Ajax.
Arsenal would go on to win the game 3-2 after Nketiah scored in injury time.
Martinez took to Twitter and tweeted: “It was not the end we wanted, but definitely no time to feel too down.
“Heads up and we go again together for the next one, come on United!!! Nice to score my first goal, thanks once again for the fantastic away support!”
