Chelsea reportedly READY to sign Cristiano Ronaldo if Manchester United sacked him
Chelsea are reportedly ready to sign Cristiano Ronaldo in January if Manchester United eventually sack the Portuguese forward.
Man United are planning on parting ways with Ronaldo after the former Real Madrid made some strong allegations during his interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Among other things Ronaldo said, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner accused the Glazers family of having no care about Manchester United, sportingly-wise, and said they only view United as ‘a marketing club’ driven by money.
Ronaldo also said he has no respect for Erik ten Hag because the Dutchman doesn’t respect him and claimed the former Ajax manager and some executives are forcing him out of the club.
As a result, Manchester United reportedly held a meeting this concerning the Ronaldo interview and there are suggestions that the club have decided to sack Cristiano Ronaldo and will sue him for a breach of his contract with his interview.
The same report also claimed that the Red Devils have ordered Ronaldo NOT to return to Carrington after the World Cup.
However, the Portuguese star could continue playing at a high level elsewhere in the Premier League after the Mirror claim that Chelsea are READY to lure the 37-year-old in January.
Ronaldo’s desire to compete in the Champions League is still alive and moving to Chelsea in January will be a dream move for the Portugal international.
